About Us

Founded in 2020, the Chippewa Jr. Steel Hockey is a USA Hockey and Wisconsin Amateur Hockey Association sanctioned hockey club located in Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. The Jr. Steel are a development program for the Chippewa Steel in the NAHL.

The program focuses on the player experience. We focus on player development by participating in pre-planned, purpose focused and high tempo practices. While also competing against top competition in the region and the country.

We pride ourselves on high quality communication with the players and families. Everything is pre-planned and communicated out well in advance. We also utilize the Crossbar app for schedule and other communication.

The program is coached by USA Hockey & Safesport certified coaches who also are required to pass background checks.

The Jr. Steel offers three Midget (15O, 16U, 18U) teams that compete in the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL), a Tier 1 AAA league that hosts showcase tournaments throughout the country.

The Jr. Steel also offers spring and summer AAA teams from 11U to 18U.
