Tryouts Begin March 30th

OVERVIEW

The Chippewa Steel, a founding member of the NAPHL Fall League, are happy to announce their continued participation for the 2024 season at the 18U and 16U levels. This is an invite only program and interested players must attend tryouts. Tryout and program information can be found below.

TRYOUTS DETAILS

All players interested in being considered for our 18U and 16U teams must register for tryouts. Tryouts will take place Saturday, March 30th at Chippewa Ice Arena. Players trying out will receive free admission to the Chippewa Steel NAHL game on Saturday night against Springfield. Please see selection process below and read through the program details. 7:45-8:45 AM Check-in  

9:00 AM Player Meeting  

9:30-10:30 AM 18U Practice

10:45-11:45 AM 16U Practice

1:00-2:15 PM 18U Game

2:30-3:45 PM 16U Game

7:00 PM Steel NAHL Game

SELECTION PROCESS

Players must apply to be invited to tryouts to ensure quality of competition. Upon completion of tryouts, players will be notified if they have been selected no later than 72 hours after tryouts conclude. Players will either be selected as a full time player or an alternate player. Alternate players will attend training camp, practices and be invited to games when a need arises. 

Cost: $20 – includes free admission to NAHL game on 3/30
